The rarity of transparency.

Numbered, finite, fully disclosed. Each bottle is singular.

Each bottle names its origin, its cask, its strength, and its age if stated. Nothing is invented. The elegance lies in the exactness.

Our House

A Name of Stones.

In Gaelic, Glenlochy means “valley of stones.” The name once belonged to a distillery in Fort William, silent since 1983. We do not seek to resurrect it. We claim no heritage that is not ours.

Our Glenlochy is different: an independent whisky house established in Edinburgh, dedicated to presenting Scotch whisky with precision and sincerity.

The book behind the revival

Glenlochy — A bottle that did not lie.

A novel set in the Highlands and Edinburgh.

Three distilleries fell silent in May 1983. Brora, Port Ellen, Glenlochy. Two returned. One stayed missing — until 2026. The book behind the third.

“Some houses inherit history. Others earn trust.”
